Eugenio Herrera Garrigó

Eugenio Herrera Garrigó serves as Managing Partner of Kreston Dominicana, S.R.L., a position he has held since September 2025. In this role, he leads the firm with a strategic vision focused on operational excellence, sustainable growth, and the strengthening of audit and financial advisory services.

Over the course of more than two decades, he has built broad experience in audit, finance and administrative management, combining work at international firms with direct involvement in the business sector. Prior to his current position, he served as Audit Partner at RSM Dominicana, S.R.L. (2013–2025), a period during which he developed a robust practice advising organizations across multiple industries.

His professional trajectory reflects a consistent progression through positions of high responsibility — supervision, leadership and strategic management in the financial and administrative space. Throughout his career, he has led multidisciplinary teams, strengthened internal control systems, optimized accounting and administrative processes, and supported organizations in key decision-making through rigorous financial analysis and a comprehensive business view.

He has also managed complex operations, implemented improvements in operational efficiency, overseen accounting closings, budgets, projections and management reports — always ensuring regulatory compliance and transparency in financial information. This accumulated experience has given him a strong capacity to lead critical processes, coordinate audits, manage resources, and deliver strategic value in dynamic and demanding environments.

Early in his career, he was part of KPMG Dominican Republic as an Audit Senior, an experience that grounded his technical approach and rigour in regulatory compliance. He has participated in audit engagements for leading national and international companies, including commercial, service and regulated entities.

He holds a degree in Accounting from Universidad APEC in Santo Domingo, and has strengthened his profile with specializations in auditing for sectors including banking, insurance, manufacturing, services and hospitality. He also has experience in tax matters and in preparing financial statements under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
